Several months ago, I introduced you to Hitched Events couple Camy and Reggie. This past weekend, the Hitched Events team celebrated their wedding and reception at Noah’s in Las Colinas. With locations already in Utah, Colorado and Arizona, Noah’s opened it’s doors in Texas earlier this year with its Las Colinas property, and today it’s our feature of the Hitched Events Reception Selection blog series.
Noah’s Las Colinas has four main function spaces – the atrium (which is a perfect spot for a wedding ceremony), the main ballroom (which is ideal for receptions), a board room (or bride’s room), and a game room (or groom’s suite). With the four separate spaces, it’s a great option for couples who are looking to host their wedding and reception all in one place so that guests don’t have to travel from a separate ceremony location to the reception. And with modern amenities not found in other local venues, Noah’s is definitely worth a closer look.
The atrium space makes for a gorgeous ceremony set-up. And with a windowed ceiling, it’s a great option for brides and grooms who want to bring the outdoors in, without having to worry about the weather.
The windowed ceiling has retractable shades, so couples can decide how much light they let in on their wedding ceremony.
The main ballroom of Noah’s is perfect for receptions for less than 200 guests, and it comes equipped with tables, chairs, and black, white or ivory tablecloths. There is also a built-in stage that can be raised from the floor or lowered with the flip of a button. Genius!
No need for tall ladders to hang draping, lanterns, or pin spots at Noah’s! Their ceiling grid can be lowered, making hanging ceiling decor and lighting installations a breeze!
The board room, which is used as a bridal area, has a large conference table and private restroom. But… the beauty of the space is that it’s completely flexible. The large table recesses into the floor, allowing the space to be reconfigured, should a different table layout be needed.
The game room, often used as a groom’s suite, contains a pool table, ping-pong table, and large screen television. No doubt, the groomsmen will have no problem using this as their gathering area!
At Noah’s, couples can bring in their own caterer and supply their own alcohol, which makes it a really appealing option for brides and grooms looking for some flexibility for their events. Plus, Noah’s Las Colinas truly has some of the nicest on-site event staff I’ve ever worked with. For real.
With a second DFW location scheduled to open in the spring of 2013 in Fairview, Noah’s is a great option for ceremony and reception combo events.
